On your TV, you're in charge.
Lord Play plays the playlist you already have, from your own provider, with your own username and password. We don't sell channels or playlists: we just make the player fast, beautiful and easy to use with a remote control.
Coming soon to the LG Content Store (LG TVs with webOS). Samsung and Android TV on the way.
Try it: click the TV and use the arrow keys, or press the remote. Artwork is illustrative.
What Lord Play is, and what it is not.
Media players usually hide this in the footer. We'd rather say it up front, because it's the most important part.
It is
- A player to watch the playlist you already have with your own provider.
- Built for the remote: everything works with the arrows and OK.
- Lightweight, even on older TVs, with its own lite mode.
- Family safe: PIN, kids mode and category and channel locks.
It is not
- It does not sell or provide channels, movies, series, subscriptions or playlists.
- It does not recommend providers and has no ties to any of them.
- It comes with no content: without a playlist of your own, the app shows nothing.
- It does not host or relay video: it goes straight from your provider's server to your TV.
Only use Lord Play with content you have the right to watch. Content and its use are the responsibility of the user and of whoever provides the playlist.
An evening with Lord Play.
Instead of a grid of icons, here is what the app does for you on an ordinary TV night.
Opens in seconds
Your playlist's catalog is kept on the TV and refreshes by itself. No waiting for everything to download again each time.
Picks up where you left off
"Continue watching" shows how much is left, and a series opens on the right episode, with an image and summary for each one.
The picture stuttered?
If a stream stalls, the player tries another quality of the same channel from your playlist by itself and, if needed, another server from your provider.
End of the episode
An "Up next" notice shows in the final seconds. The next one starts by itself, or not: you choose in Settings.
The kids grabbed the remote
Kids mode and the parental PIN hide what isn't for them, including in search.
Bedtime
The sleep timer pauses the video and closes the player when you choose.
Three button presses.
Install from the TV store
Search for Lord Play in your Smart TV's app store.
Read the notice
On first launch, the app explains that it is only a player and that content comes from your playlist.
Sign in with your playlist
Use the username and password your provider gave you. Done.
Don't have a playlist? Lord Play doesn't sell or recommend one, and without a playlist of your own there is nothing to watch.
Your data, no fine print.

We don't sell data and don't use anything for advertising.
Common questions.
Does Lord Play sell playlists, channels or subscriptions?
No. Lord Play is only the player. We don't sell, provide or recommend content, playlists or providers.
Where do I get a playlist?
From the provider of your choice. We have no ties to any provider and make no recommendations.
Which TVs does it work on?
LG TVs with webOS, through the LG Content Store. Samsung (Tizen) and Android TV versions are on the way.
A channel or movie won't open. Is it the app?
The app tries another quality and another server from your playlist by itself. If nothing opens, the issue is usually the playlist or the provider; contact whoever gave you the playlist. If it's the app, write to support.
How do I delete my data?
Signing out in the app removes your playlist data from the TV. To delete what is on our server, email [email protected].
Who is responsible for the content?
The user and whoever provides the playlist. Lord Play does not control, store or transmit playlist content.
